The Airfield of St Girons - Antichan (LFCG) located about 100 kilometres South West of Toulouse in the department of Ariège, is remarkable for its mild weather and regularity of its wind conditions from North, North West. The famous gust-wind Vent d'Autan well known in Toulouse and Carcassone is not known here. Therefore take-offs and landings can be made safely even by strong south wind over the Pyrenees.
